Graphistudio Wedding Books from your own photos on CD or DVD

Terms & Conditions
Graphistudio wedding books are world class premium albums made in Italy to your specifications. We know from experience, with our own weddings, that all photos supplied must be of the highest quality. This means only professional photographs are likely to be of the required quality. Photos from friends and family compact cameras are unlikely to produce the quality such a premium product demands.
Copyright:
1. When ordering your wedding book you must supply a letter written and signed by the photographer of each image stating they have given you permission to copy and use the images. Without such a letter we would be breaking the law if we produced the Graphistudio book for you.
Quality:
1. The web site below will give you an idea of how many mega-pixels an image must be to obtain a high quality image. For example for the smallest Graphistudio Wedding book 20 x 30 cm the image must have been taken on an 10 mega pixel or larger camera. For a Graphistudio 25 x 35 cm book the image must have been taken on a minimum of a 12 mega pixel camera. For our own weddings we use 18 and 21 mega pixel cameras.

2. Each image you send us on your CD or DVD will be carefully inspected and assessed for: Image size, sharpness, colour, noise (grain) and post production work carried out by the wedding photographer. Any image that is not suitable for printing by Graphistudio will be rejected and not included in your book.
3. As part of our service to you we will make minor corrections and adjustments to your images to make sure your photos look their best in your wedding book. You can specify if you want any images printing in black and white.
4. Once we have assessed each image we will email you a report indicating if a successful book can be produced, and listing any images not suitable for printing in your book. Please supply an email address written on your CD or DVD.
Design & layout
1. The Graphistudio web site at www.graphistudio.com has examples of wedding book covers and book design lay out. We recommend the layout called: Reportage and the cover called crystal Glance. The Reportage layout offers the most photos per page, for example: 40 pages will display 55 to 60 photos. 50 pages will display 65 to 75 photos. 60 pages will display 80 to 100 photos. 70 pages will display 100 to 120 photos. 80 pages will display 120 130 photos.
2. The actual design and layout of your wedding book is done by Graphistudio designers in Italy.This means the size and position of each photo on the page will be decided by the professional designers at Graphistudio. We do not at this time offer to design the layout of your book, however we have always been delighted with Graphistudio book designs.
3. We recommend you select the portrait format with photographic paper for your book. This combination together with the Reportage layout works very well with Graphistudio Books.
Covers & materials
1. Book covers come in a wide range of styles and materials. We recommend the photographic cover called: Crystal Glance. The full range of covers can be viewed on the Graphistudio web site. If you select a photo cover, please supply two photo options (to be used on the cover) when you send your photo CD.
2. Leather, silk and photographic covers are offered. Leather covers come in a range of colours.
3. Your first names (Bride & Groom) and the date of your wedding will be included on the cover of your wedding book if you decide on the photo (Crystal Glance) cover. We do not offer a leather cover name blocking service.
Your photo CD or DVD
1. The photo images on your CD or DVD can be in any of the following formats: jpg, tiff or RAW
2. We can accept no responsibility or liability for the loss of your CD or DVD. You must make your own back up and security copy of all images before sending your disk to us.
3. A letter from the photographer giving you permission to use the all of the photographs will need to be included with your CD or DVD.
4. Your CD or DVD will be returned with your Graphistudio wedding book. In the event of non payment (see making a payment below), or cancellation, your CD or DVD will not be returned. Please make sure you have plenty of copies.
How to order
1. Please send an email, or phone us on 01952 245528, with a rough idea as to the size and number of photos to be included in your wedding book. We will then email you back with an initial quotation. If this quotation is acceptable we will ask you to post your CD or DVD to us by recorded delivery. All of the photos on the disk will be included in your wedding book, providing the quality is satisfactory (see Quality above).
2. Once we have assessed your photos we will email you with an exact quotation. You will then need to send an cheque and a letter, or email saying you agree to our terms and conditions.
Making a payment
1. Once you have accepted our quotation your order will be sent to Graphistudio in Italy. The design and printing of your book will begin once your payment has cleared. We have to pay Graphistudio in advance of printing so we require payment in full before shipping by Fed Ex to Italy.
2. If payment has not been received within one calendar month of you accepting our quotation the order will be cancelled.
3. Payment by cheque please. We also accept payment by PayPal.
Turn around time
1. From your acceptance of our quotation the turn around time will be approximately 6 weeks.
2. Shipping time is next day by Special Delivery.
Shipping and delivery
1. Graphistudio wedding books are heavy. Collection from Telford is welcome. Shipping to your home address will be via Royal Mail Special Delivery with insurance to cover £1,000 in value.
2. The shipping cost will be between £20 and £30 pounds. An exact price will be shown on your quotation before printing begins.
Disputes and claims
1. In the unlikely event of a fault or damage in transit your book will be returned to Graphistudio in Italy for repair or replacement.
2. We accept no responsibility for the design and layout of your book. We make it very clear all design is carried out by the Graphistudio design team. If you want to specify elements of the design we can not offer you this service.
3. Where your original photographs do not meet the quality standards they will not be included in your book. See Quality above.
4. It is your responsibility to ensure all photographs are of a professional quality and size - photos from compact cameras and mobile phones will not meet Graphistudio quality standards.
Legal stuff
1. You must have written permission from the photographer to make copies and get prints made.
2. All images must be legal and not violate any UK indecency laws. Any children under 18 years of age must be fully clothed.
3. If needed, it is the photographers responsibility to get any release forms signed. This would apply to models, performers and professional subjects appearing in the photographs.
5. No liability what so ever is accepted for the content, layout, design or quality of the finished book based on the photographs supplied to us.
6. In the event of a complaint, if in our judgment the fault lies with Graphistudio, we will return your book at no cost for repair or replacement.
