Storybook Photography Terms & Conditions

Prices & Bookings
Wedding bookings are confirmed only when a payment of £50.00 has been made to Storybook Photography and subsequently cleared by a bank. No date can be guaranteed until such a booking fee has been paid. Bookings are made on a 'first come first served' basis.
The £50.00 booking fee will be deducted from the total price of the package selected.
No refund of the booking fee due to cancellation of the wedding, or change to the wedding date, can be offered due to the possible loss of business. Of course we will however attempt to transfer the booking to another date providing that date is not already booked and is within 12 months of the original booking.
Changes to prices after 29th March 2008
The prices for Graphistudio wedding books (published Sept 2007) was calculated at 1 Euro = 68 pence. The exchange rate has changed signifacantly since then. As of 29th March 2008 1 Euro = 79pence. Regretfully this has increased the prices we pay for all products produced in the Euro zone. As a result we are having to increase our prices for weddings taking place in 2008 to cover the fall in the value of the UK pound against the Euro. This increase only applies to customers ordering Graphistudio wedding books.
We reserve the right to change our prices, products, packages and services on offer in line with industry developments and suppliers prices. From time to time we discontinue some products and packages and introduce new ones. In the event of a package, album, wedding book, or service being discontinued we will offer the nearest package or product. Where the bride and groom fail to order their wedding book or album within 4 months of the wedding day, any increases in suppliers prices will be passed on at cost price.
Making a payment
Full payment may be made three weeks before the wedding day. The option to make payments in three parts is also offered. Part one: £50.00 booking fee. Part two: 50% of the balance not less than three weeks before the wedding. Part three: the remaining 50% before the preview book is supplied, usually approx. three weeks after the wedding.
Important note - failure to pay the 50% balance due three weeks before the wedding day may result in the non-attendance of the photographers at the wedding or failure to pay the 50% balance, due following the wedding, may result to non supply of wedding preview book.
Important note - the preview book can not be supplied until payment in full has been received. For customers located in some parts of the U.K., and unable to collect their preview book in person, this may mean sending the final payment to Storybook Photography before the preview book is shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery direct to your home address. In such cases shipping costs will be added at Royal Mail cost rate (see shipping costs below).
Prices are based on the collection of preview books, photographs, wedding books, albums etc. from the photographer in Telford, Shropshire, or by arrangement from the studio in Wolverhampton. Delivery and or postal charges will be quoted at Royal Mail Special Delivery cost rates where items are shipped direct to the customer.
Travel costs where applicable
Prices published in the current price list are applicable to weddings taking place in Shropshire, South Staffordshire, Birmingham and parts of the West Midlands. A travel fee to cover the additional cost of fuel may be added in other parts of the U.K. as follows.
Wedding venue between:
50 to 75 miles from Wolverhampton City Centre £50.00 will be added
75 to 100 miles from Wolverhampton City Centre £70.00 will be added
100 to 150 miles from Wolverhampton City Centre £100.00 will be added
150 to 200 miles from Wolverhampton City Centre £130.00 will be added
(These fees cover two journeys. A planning meeting at your wedding venue, and wedding photography on the day).
Accommodation costs where applicable - overseas weddings see below
Where the wedding venue is greater than 50 miles from Wolverhampton, and the time of the wedding necessitates and early start (before 9.00 a.m. from Wolverhampton or late finish after 9.00 p.m. in Wolverhampton, accommodation may need to be booked for your two photographers
Prices outside London: Accommodation per night (for two photographers in Travel Lodge style hotel) £100.00 per night.
Prices in Greater London: Accommodation for two nights (for two photographers in Travel Lodge style hotel) £250.00 for weekend.
Weddings overseas
Travel and accommodation costs will be a agreed before the wedding booking is accepted. 10% will be added to the price we pay to cover our travel time and aditional time abroad. For example if a flight costs us £100.00 you will be charged £110.00. If accommodations costs 50 Euros per night, you will be charged 55 Euros per night. No food bills will be added. All travel and accommodation receipts will be available for inspection
Wedding photography times - 7 hours attendance is included in all packages
Before your wedding day we will agree with you a start time and a departure time for both photographers on your wedding day . This will include pictures of the bride getting ready (if requested) and speeches after the wedding breakfast. All packages include up to 7 hours attendance time. Please note that in the event of dalays during the day, or changes to your plans, additional time (over 7 hours) may be required to complete your photography - this will be chargable - see below.
The start and end time will be agreed before the wedding day - this point is very important as changing the photographers time of departure may incur additional charges and accommodation costs. Additional time at the venue, above that agreed 7 hours, for whatever reason, will be charged at £50.00 per hour (pro rate for part hour) and may require an accommodation fee to be added.
Wedding photography services
Full co-operation and assistance must be offered to the photographers in the execution of their professional duties on the wedding day. The poses, locations, subjects and number of photographs taken will be at the discretion of the photographer on the day. Every effort will be made to record all photographs requested prior to the wedding but in the event of non co-operation, or non availability of any person or location, the photographs will not be held responsible.
The photographers want to take the pictures you request on the day. However it is your responsibility to see that those guests and groups you want on your photographs are presented to the photographers to be photographed. The photographers will ask throughout the day, "are there any more photographs, guests, family members you would like to be photographed". Please make sure you make your wishes known and identify those people to the photographers.
In the unlikely event of non attendance due to circumstances beyond our control or total photographic failure, a full refund of any money paid will be made. No other liability is accepted.
In the unlikely event of disputes, misbehaviour of guests or threats made against the photographers in the execution of their professional duties, Storybook Photography reserve the right to withdraw the photographers from the venue for a period of one hour to enable the wedding party to make acceptable arrangements to continue with the wedding photography coverage. In such an event the number of final photographs may be reduced.
Where the weather restricts or curtails planned events, or access to planned locations, the photographers will make every effort to produce professional photographs in a more suitable location on the wedding day.
Cancellations
In the unlikely event of cancellation of the wedding: cancellations made more than 48 hours before the wedding day money paid will be refunded (see following exclusions) and any outstanding balance will be cancelled, however this does not include the booking fee and any accommodation fees paid. If the cancellation takes place less than 48 hours before the wedding day the booking fee and 50% balance already paid will not be refundable. Therefore Storybook Photography strongly advises taking out insurance to cover the cancellation of the wedding.
Copyright
Under U.K. law the copyright of a photograph is owned by the photographer (in this case Storybook Photography). Please do not attempt to make illegal copies of any images supplied.
Wedding books and albums design
Prices are based on Graphistudio wedding books being designed in Italy by Graphistudio own designers. Please ask to see examples of Graphistudio designs before making a booking to ensure these will be to your satisfaction. Your wedding book will contain the photographs you selected from your preview book, but the order and size of the photographs will be at the discretion of Graphistudio designers. If you want your wedding book designed to your precise instructions please ask for a quotation before booking.
Proof photographs
We take extra photographs at the wedding to ensure a good selection of pictures will be available to you. These extra photographs will contain rejected pictures and will be deleted before printing of your proof photographs.
Extra copies and parents albums
A range of extra prints, books, albums etc. will be available. Guests and family must order these through the bride and groom. Full payment should be supplied at the time of ordering. If orders cannot be collected a shipping charge by (Royal Mail Special Delivery) to the bride and Grooms address will be added.
